ProtectiFlex is a spray on cementitious mix made with tyre-derived crumb rubber from end-of-life tyres and composite fibers, designed to be blast, ballistic and fire-resistant. It is an adaptable protective construction material that can be easily installed in a number of environments.
It offers a bespoke defensive solution which can be retrofitted on to existing structures or integrated into new designs and be used to mitigate risk against accidents, natural disasters and direct attacks. Its innovative sustainable formula allows bullet and bomb blast energy to be absorbed and dissipated through the structure instead of shattering. This reduces the risk of spalling injuries without diminishing its structural integrity.
